Direct Care Staff

Our facility provides residential care for children and adolescents that are diagnosed with behavioral and/or emotional disorders; this also includes cognitive limitations.
Essential Job Functions:
· Implement Individual Crisis Management Plan programs for assigned patients at the appropriate time.
· Ensure residents/patients are appropriately dressed and groomed with resident/patient input.
· Monitor assigned residents/patients at all times.
· Make necessary documentation in the medical chart using descriptive terms during the shift.
· Carry out and document behavior modification programs and level system accurately that are individualized to resident/patient.
· Monitor and chart resident/patient behavior using specific and descriptive terms accurately (i.e., behavior changes, drug reactions, accidents, injuries, seizures, etc.)
· Attend staff meetings related to assigned residents/patients.
· Must be able to perform all aspects of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
· Must be able to perform all aspects of CPR/first aide.
· Provide care and/or conduct patient/resident interactions in a manner appropriate for the age, culture, and population being served.
· Follows all safety policies and adheres to all workers’ compensation program guidelines.
· Other duties as assigned.
